Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong understanding of programming languages, application servers, database servers, and system architecture being developed
- Good grasp of current programming languages to address the internal clients business requirements
- Familiarity with one or more of the following: J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, and MQ Series
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Professional certifications are preferred
- Over 6 years of software development experience on relevant platforms
- Solid background in IT with practical experience
- Experience as an application developer on projects with similar scope and responsibility
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications based on user requirements and design specifications
- Address and resolve defects identified during various testing stages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Maintain thorough documentation of software applications and development processes
