Requirements

Must:
- Experience in software and testing lifecycle, from inception through deployment - Experience in test strategy, test planning, test case design, and test execution - Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive quality assurance strategies across multiple teams or projects - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Ability to take ownership of QA processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving continuous improvement without direct supervisory responsibilities - Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and how QA integrates seamlessly within Agile workflows - Salesforce Platform Experience - Mixed experience in various QE-related roles such as: - Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - API Test Automation Experience (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler) - UI Test automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Provar, AccelQ) - Performance test engineer - Test environment or test data coordinator/lead - Manual functional tester - Passionate about quality engineering and the Salesforce ecosystem - Able to travel up to 50% (post-COVID)

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes for our large client engagements, including but not limited to Salesforce Ecosystems - Lead and manage the project quality engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support - Collaborate with project managers, developers, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met - Act as a primary liaison with stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives - Conduct regular quality assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement - Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and eventually automated test scripts - Advise and work towards compliance with industry standards and best practices - Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in quality engineering and software testing - Design and develop testing approaches and plans for specific test areas - Work closely with teams to construct test automation frameworks and test scenarios - Facilitate defect triage and manage the overall defect resolution process - Conduct test case reviews, ensure requirements traceability, and proper coverage - Share knowledge and assist other team members of the Salesforce Quality Engineer team - Provide guidance on client test automation readiness and help clients deliver on their automation goals - Advise on API designs and develop reusable API functional tests

Our compensation practices are fair and equitable, with a base salary range for the Sr. Consultant role between $110,000 and $203,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
