Requirements
Must:
- Associate degree in an IT-related field and at least one year of experience in IT support, help desk, or generalist roles.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and administration.
- Basic knowledge of phone systems and networking concepts.
- Experience in supporting mobile devices, particularly iOS devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of assisting users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both external vendors and internal teams.
- Commitment to upholding the mission, values, and respectful environment of a religious organization.
- Service-oriented mindset with a calm and supportive demeanor.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
- Comfort working within a faith-based community and respecting individual privacy.
- Previous experience in a non-profit religious organization is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support across all departments.
- Assist with special projects based on the requirements of various departments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
- Aid in technology rollouts, equipment installations, and system upgrades.
- Maintain the inventory of IT equipment and assist with its lifecycle management.
- Document processes, common issues, and solutions to facilitate internal knowledge sharing.
- Serve as the onsite help desk contact for daily technology inquiries.
- Support the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of mobile devices such as smartphones and iPads.
- Provide audio/visual support by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment for events and presentations.
- Coordinate with telecommunications vendors for service adjustments, repairs, or upgrades.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.
