Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of on-air experience in a live commercial television setting
- Strong leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and working collaboratively with a newsroom team
- Excellent writing and editorial skills, with a conversational and engaging style that prioritizes clarity and depth
- Proficient in video shooting and editing, able to produce high-quality content from inception to completion
- Outstanding communication skills, adept at engaging viewers both on-air and on digital platforms
- Proven capability to hold public figures and institutions accountable through critical questioning and analysis
- Adaptable and composed in fast-paced environments, especially during breaking news situations

- Anchor live broadcasts, focusing on delivering in-depth and thought-provoking news coverage
- Produce and present news stories as a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) across various platforms, including on-air, digital, and social media
- Uphold a strong sense of accountability in journalism, continually asking challenging questions of those in power
- Lead editorial planning, working collaboratively with producers, reporters, and team members to create meaningful and engaging news content
- Ensure news coverage transcends headlines, offering context, clarity, and analysis to engage viewers
- Regularly interact with audiences via social media to foster community and transparency
- Demonstrate excellent ad-libbing abilities and quick thinking during live broadcasts and breaking news
- Maintain CBSs high editorial standards by ensuring news is timely, accurate, balanced, and impactful
