Software Development Engineer in Test

- Lead the design, implementation, and upkeep of test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure across various platforms (mobile, hybrid, backend, APIs) - Develop tools, scripts, or capabilities featuring AI/ML-assisted test generation, test case optimization, or anomaly detection to enhance coverage and minimize manual tasks - Create and manage test suites: unit, integration, UI, end-to-end, regression, performance, load, and stress testing - Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines, manage build gates, and automate release validations - Work closely with mobile, hybrid, and backend engineers to establish testing strategies, manage API contracts, identify failure modes, and enhance observability for testability - Monitor test environments, assessing test health, coverage, flakiness, and reliability metrics - Design setups for test data management, mocking, virtualization, and service simulation for cross-system testing - Continuously enhance the test architecture to reduce execution times and allow for parallel/distributed test runs - Troubleshoot production or pre-production issues arising from automated test failures, identify root causes, define solutions, and enhance resilience - Stay informed about AI/ML tools (e.g., GPT-based test generation, self-healing tests, anomaly detection) and recommend adoption strategies
