Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Over 5 years of experience in developing and delivering iOS or tvOS applications
- Strong command of React Native and Swift
- In-depth knowledge of UIKit, SwiftUI, AVFoundation, Combine, and concurrency
- Familiarity with video streaming technologies (HLS, MPEG-DASH, DRM, offline playback)
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs
- Proven track record in developing for tvOS or similar Living Room platforms
- Excellent debugging and performance enhancement skills
- Experience integrating React Native with native iOS components (preferred)
- Knowledge of DRM systems, SSAI, and analytics SDKs (preferred)
- Understanding of AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, S3) or similar technologies (preferred)
- Exposure to React Native libraries such as Reanimated, React Navigation, Redux, and Hermes (preferred)
- Background in sports, entertainment, or media streaming applications (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain hybrid iOS and tvOS applications using React Native and Swift
- Implement native integrations for performance-sensitive features such as video playback, analytics, and push notifications
- Collaborate with backend engineers to create live and on-demand streaming solutions
- Work alongside design and product teams to maintain a consistent user experience across iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV
- Integrate advanced playback functionalities (DRM, adaptive bitrate streaming, live DVR, ad markers)
- Ensure optimal app performance, stability, and quality through automated testing and monitoring
- Contribute to the architecture, component design, and developer tools that enhance hybrid app scalability
- Stay informed on advancements in the Apple and React Native ecosystems
