Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 8-10 years of hands-on mobile app development experience
- Strong expertise in React Native and Kotlin
- In-depth knowledge of Android frameworks such as Jetpack Compose, ExoPlayer, Room, and WorkManager
- Familiarity with video streaming technologies like HLS, DASH, and DRM
- Experience developing applications for Android TV or Fire TV
- Solid understanding of multithreading and performance optimization
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs
Responsibilities
- Design and create hybrid Mobile and TV applications
- Build and refine features including video playback, live streaming, authentication, and personalized content
- Collaborate with backend engineers for API and analytics integration
- Work with design teams to ensure a consistent user experience across Android and Living Room platforms
- Implement advanced features like DRM, adaptive bitrate streaming, ad markers, and live DVR capabilities
- Ensure app stability, performance, and observability through rigorous monitoring and testing
- Engage in architectural design discussions and cross-platform development planning
- Stay current with developments in iOS, Android, React Native, and the TV ecosystem
