Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree or higher in IT, electronics, or a computer-related field
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in broadcasting
- Strong teamwork and a commitment to quality
- Solid understanding of Microsoft, Mac, and Linux operating systems
- Proficient in core hardware and computer system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and LAN/WAN networking
- Skilled in troubleshooting issues and handling pressure effectively
- Excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with Avid software and hardware products is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for modern broadcast and IT equipment
- Manage servers, network security, and network services
- Perform PC/Mac hardware/software support, including installation, maintenance, and repair of workstations
- Assist the News Department with technical requirements
- Help in the setup and maintenance of video equipment
- Collaborate with Engineering for Transmitter and Master Control upkeep
- Support hardware and software maintenance related to LAN and WAN
- Develop expertise in facility-specific IT needs and provide assistance
- Regularly apply security updates
- Conduct physical inventory of equipment
- Maintain the digital telephone system
