Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a broadcast environment or a related field
- Strong skills in engineering, IT/networking, and troubleshooting
- Willingness to enhance knowledge of emerging broadcast industry concepts and technologies
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Self-motivated, quick learner in a fast-paced setting, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a diverse team
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Degree in a technical field, relevant certifications, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and ensure the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of broadcast and computer systems
- Provide operational assistance to the News Department before and during newscasts and during breaking news situations
- Knowledge of Avid editing systems will be beneficial
- Support end-users by addressing help desk tickets and inquiries
- Engage with third-party vendors and support technicians
- Lead, execute, and finalize projects as assigned by management
- Follow Sinclairs policies and best practices within a broadcast setting
- Perform any other duties as required
