Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 1-3 years of technical experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Degree in Networking, Computer Science, or Information Technology preferred
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check with fingerprinting
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Willingness to work from both our Morris and Ottawa locations as needed
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing or kneeling for extended periods
- Proficient in Windows 11 operating systems
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- A+ certification and Network+ certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues with computer hardware, software, and networks
- Install new computers and associated peripheral devices
- Utilize appropriate methods to troubleshoot problems
- Install and set up Windows operating systems
- Upgrade and configure Microsoft server operating systems
- Deploy and manage virtual server environments using Hyper-V
- Set up and manage network environments utilizing pfSense and Ubiquiti equipment
- Install, configure, and enhance networking hardware and software
- Establish user accounts on both servers and desktops
- Modify user accounts on servers or desktops as necessary
- Set up security protocols to restrict network access by specific users or device types
- Configure application software for database access or external system connectivity

As we expand our team, we seek a dedicated full-time IT Support Technician to thrive in our dynamic environment. In this role, youll work directly with clients to deliver outstanding service for their technology needs, primarily from our main office with occasional travel to client sites.
