Requirements
Must:
- Minimum two years of experience in software development using C++
- Experience working within a Linux operating system
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence tools
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, or Mattermost
- Ability to perform unit testing effectively
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with software leaders, engineers/developers, and stakeholders
- Experience managing software engineering and development projects
- Knowledge of software requirements, design principles, and integration/testing processes
Responsibilities
- Develop code to support aircraft systems software
- Collaborate with Naval Air Station Patuxent River headquarters, contractors, and other government personnel involved in the program
- Conduct technical reviews to assess software changes
- Provide guidance on technical issues
- Oversee research, analysis, design, development, testing, and manufacturing operations
- Offer technical oversight on Program Increment (PI) priority workloads
- Review and provide input on proposed changes to processes and software development plans
- Act as a member of an integrated team
