Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in system administration
- Proficient in assessing Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance, including STIG and ACAS scans
- Possess an active Security+ certification
- Hold a certification in either a Windows or Linux operating environment
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering solutions for diverse challenges in a government software hosting environment
- Install and oversee both physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, including virtual machines and containers
- Conduct routine maintenance and manage configuration changes for various hosts
- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of server, workstation, and IT equipment issues
- Ensure system backups and disaster recovery plans are effectively maintained
- Administer user accounts and access permissions
- Implement and sustain software applications
- Resolve technical problems and provide troubleshooting support
- Maintain thorough documentation, including knowledge bases and incident response actions
- Offer technical assistance to clients, addressing issues and providing best-practice guidance
- Safeguard information systems in accordance with current DoD regulations
- Continuously monitor and uphold configuration and security measures for information systems
- Engage in project planning using Agile methodologies
- Provide networking support to on-site infrastructure
