Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of two years of experience in:
- Software development using C++
- Operating in a Linux environment
- Utilizing Jira and Confluence
- Employing Git, Bitbucket, or Mattermost
- Conducting unit testing
- Effectively communicating with software program leaders, engineers, developers, and stakeholders
- Overseeing software engineering and development activities
- Engaging with software requirements, design, process management, open architecture principles, integration, and testing
Responsibilities
- Write code for aircraft system software
- Collaborate with personnel at Naval Air Station Patuxent River and other government agencies for the program
- Perform technical reviews to assess the viability of software changes
- Provide advice on technical challenges
- Supervise research, analysis, design, development, testing, and manufacturing processes
- Offer technical oversight on Program Increment (PI) priority tasks
- Evaluate and provide insights on proposed modifications to processes and software development strategies
- Participate as a member of an integrated team
