Requirements
Must:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Skilled in technical documentation and process enhancement
- Strong communication and analytical abilities
- Capable of ensuring compliance with security protocols and operational standards
- Manage and oversee equipment inventories, including procurement, deployment, and retirement
- Available for field exercises and to provide on-site troubleshooting
- Adaptable to work in a fast-paced setting with evolving requirements, both independently and in a team
- Knowledgeable in Mesh Networks and Mesh Network Radios (e.g., MPU5, TrellisWare)
- Familiar with WinTAK/ATAK
- Proficient in configuring hardware such as mesh network radios (e.g., MPU5), routers, switches, firewalls, communication systems, and security appliances (VPNs)
Responsibilities
- Set up and administer networking hardware, including routers, switches, servers, radios (HF, VHF, UHF), and satellite terminals
- Ensure systems are configured to specifications for secure and dependable connectivity across varied environments
- Deliver expert technical support and rapid troubleshooting for users and field teams facing hardware and software challenges
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all deployed communication and network systems to minimize disruptions
- Oversee and manage equipment inventories through procurement, deployment, and decommissioning
- Create and maintain essential technical documentation, including system diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Implement and uphold quality control and assurance measures to ensure compliance with established standards
- Provide thorough analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement in product and service quality
- Design and manage network architecture
