Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in providing Software and/or Systems Engineering support for DoD aircraft, weapon, mission, and support systems.
- Proficient in writing, reviewing, and deriving system and/or software requirements.
- Experience supporting Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes.
- Familiar with System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, etc.).
- Capable of delivering written and oral presentations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Execute Software Systems Engineering for the acquisition, development, and maintenance of various programs related to aircraft and weapons systems.
- Conduct activities during software development including system resource evaluation, software requirements assessment, design evaluation, software definition, coding, unit testing, integration testing, software delivery, independent testing, quality assurance, and configuration monitoring.
- Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) products.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, etc.) to ensure compliance with Government standards.
- Engage in all software life-cycle reviews from requirements analysis to detailed design, integration, and testing.
- Provide input and feedback on proposed system requirements based on Government documentation.
- Ensure that system requirements align with the program objectives and support program reviews and status meetings.
- Aid in the development of Statements of Work and CDRLs.
- Assist in the technical evaluation of Contractor proposals.
- Offer recommendations regarding human systems engineering.
