Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a Database Administration team environment
- Ability to act as a liaison for database design
- Proficient in utilizing Oracle tools
- Skilled in creating table spaces and organizing database objects (e.g., tables, indexes, triggers, stored procedures, views)
- Capable of analyzing datasets to identify data trends for enhancing database operations
- Experienced in evaluating databases to enhance efficiency and implementing adjustments as needed
- Knowledgeable in setting up access control protocols
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related IT discipline
- Active Secret Clearance required for the role
- U.S. Citizenship necessary to obtain clearance
Responsibilities
- Deliver database development and administration in an Agile development setting
- Collaborate with software developers and business application teams to ensure proper database structure
- Support the development of weapons system software and naval information systems
