Requirements
Must:
- Experience with embedded hardware product lifecycle including design, testing, and integration.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software, such as Altium.
- Proven expertise in writing embedded firmware for microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required, with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
Responsibilities
- Transform high-level specifications into cohesive engineering designs.
- Perform trade-off analyses evaluating risks, costs, and benefits to influence technical selections, including microprocessor choices.
- Create and integrate custom electrical circuits, along with designing robust mechanical enclosures.
- Develop C/C++ firmware from the ground up utilizing a test-driven approach.
- Oversee code management through GitLab for version control.
- (Preferred) Build full-stack applications encompassing SQL, C++ services, and React/Next.js functionalities.
- Execute developmental testing and assess solution performance.
- Comply with program standards for configuration management and documentation.
