Requirements
Must:
- Deep knowledge of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise presentations
Responsibilities
- Implement system hardening across various Operating System (OS) platforms
- Oversee and evaluate system and network security status per DoD cybersecurity policies and tools
- Utilize MITRE ATT&CK and/or MITRE D3FEND frameworks to enhance threat detection and response capabilities
- Conduct comprehensive threat intelligence analysis, recognize emerging threats, and offer intelligence recommendations
- Perform vulnerability assessments utilizing the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other security tools
- Analyze vulnerability results and create remediation strategies
- Address vulnerability issues by applying vendor patches and making configuration adjustments on both Linux and Windows OS
- Develop, apply, and enforce security controls across network, hardware, and software components
