Requirements
Must:
- Deep knowledge of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective presentations
Responsibilities
- Execute system hardening across various Operating System (OS) platforms
- Oversee and evaluate system and network security performance in line with DoD cybersecurity regulations and tools
- Employ MITRE ATT&CK and MITRE D3FEND frameworks to enhance threat detection and response methodologies
- Perform detailed threat intelligence assessments, identify emerging potential threats, and provide actionable recommendations
- Conduct vulnerability evaluations using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other security instruments
- Analyze vulnerability results and develop corrective action plans
- Address vulnerability issues by applying vendor patches and configuration updates on both Linux and Windows systems
- Create, implement, and uphold security controls across network, hardware, and software components
