Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective presentations
Responsibilities
- Execute system hardening across various Operating System (OS) platforms
- Evaluate and monitor system and network security as per DoD cybersecurity standards and tools
- Utilize MITRE ATT&CK and/or MITRE D3FEND frameworks to enhance threat detection and response capabilities
- Perform comprehensive threat intelligence analysis to identify and mitigate emerging threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments utilizing the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other security instruments
- Analyze vulnerability reports and formulate remediation strategies
- Address vulnerability issues by applying vendor patches and configurations on both Linux and Windows systems
- Design, implement, and enforce security protocols across network, hardware, and software components
