Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficient in Python and experienced with automated testing frameworks
- Strong understanding of C++ and object-oriented design principles
- Capability to create scripts and applications for simulating data and message injection
- Experience with automated analysis of manual regression tests using collected data
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps principles, including participation in a DevSecOps pipeline
- Experience with configuration management and code management using Git and GitLab
- Knowledge of agile development processes, including using JIRA and Confluence for task management and documentation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical issues
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective collaboration with team members
- Detailed-oriented with a commitment to quality in software development
- A Bachelors degree in a STEM field is required.
- Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one; US Citizenship is mandatory.
- Preferred: Experience with Redhat Linux, Docker containers, Jenkins, and Rust.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions and tools for automated testing and data mining for the Softkill Coordination Subsystem (SKCS) program
- Design, implement, and test software, along with documentation and defect analysis
- Engage in the creation of automated tests within the DevSecOps pipeline
- Consolidate and manage repeatable tests in a testing framework for maintainability and report generation
- Conduct code reviews and analyze existing tactical software written in C++
- Manipulate output text and binary data for both automated and manual analysis
- Utilize Git for version control and GitLab for repository management
- Collaborate effectively within a Scrum team environment, participating in agile development practices
- Maintain effective communication and teamwork throughout the software development lifecycle.
