Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PLSQL including query writing, debugging, and analysis of packages and procedures
- Skilled in Unix/Linux with expertise in shell scripting, log parsing (grep, awk, sed), and job scheduling (cron or enterprise schedulers)
- Proven ability in root cause analysis and troubleshooting, including reviewing logs, tracing data across tables, and identifying causes of failures to implement corrective actions
- Basic understanding of performance tuning, including reading execution plans, comprehension of indexing and statistics, and collaboration with DBAs for remediation efforts
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Management concepts, especially in inventory planning and demand forecasting processes, across various tools
- Experience in process management and effective communication regarding incident and change management along with structured reporting to stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Write and debug Oracle SQL and PLSQL queries, including analysis of packages and procedures
- Develop and manage shell scripts in Unix/Linux for log parsing and job orchestration
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving to identify and rectify failures in data processes
- Engage with DBAs to optimize performance and remediate issues based on execution plans and indexing strategies
- Collaborate within the Supply Chain context to assist in inventory planning and demand forecasting initiatives
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding incident and change management, providing structured status updates
