Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in Fortinet-based security and networking solutions in enterprise and telecom settings
- Proven experience in implementation, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of Fortinet solutions
- Proficient in deploying and managing FortiGate NGFW, Secure SD WAN, VPN, and SASE technologies
- Ability to standardize and enhance best practices within Fortinet environments
- Knowledge of enterprise security, risk, and compliance frameworks, including Zero Trust and segmentation
- Experience in advising customers during solution design assessments and technical workshops
- Capability to support pre-sales tasks, including RFPRFI responses and solution architecture
- Experience in creating knowledge resources and training for operational and delivery teams
- Proficient in configuring and managing FortiGate NGFW features such as firewall policies and antivirus
- Knowledgeable in Fortinet Security Fabric integrations across various network domains
- Skilled in VPN technology design and support, including IPSec and SSL VPN
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols like BGP and OSPF
- Familiarity with enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networking principles
- Experience with cloud-based security models and SASE architecture
- Extensive hands-on experience within large enterprise, telecom, and multi-geo network infrastructures
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to technical teams and executive stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority and Subject Matter Expert for Fortinet security and networking solutions
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Fortinet solutions throughout their lifecycle
- Manage and administer FortiGate NGFW, Secure SD WAN, VPN, and SASE solutions
- Drive the application of standard practices and hardening of Fortinet environments
- Ensure security frameworks align with enterprise policies, including Zero Trust and secure access models
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients during solution design evaluations and governance sessions
- Assist with pre-sales activities such as RFPRFI responses and solution architecture planning
- Contribute to the development of training materials and knowledge repositories for teams
- Configure FortiGate NGFW functionalities including firewall configurations and web filtering
- Implement integrations of Fortinet Security Fabric across networking and security domains
- Design and support various VPN technologies like IPSec and SSL VPN
- Utilize knowledge of routing and switching protocols in network design
- Apply fundamentals of enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networking
- Leverage experience in cloud delivery models and SASE frameworks
- Provide support in managing large-scale enterprise and telecom network environments
- Communicate intricate technical details effectively to both technical personnel and executives
