Requirements
Must:
- 4-6 years of professional experience in application security, particularly in penetration testing
- Solid understanding of internet architecture
- Proficient in security testing methodologies (SAST, DAST, SCA, OWASP Top 10)
- Capable of verifying vulnerabilities and performing manual testing
- Familiarity with security tools such as Checkmarx, AppScan, Fortify, and Veracode
- Experience with web services, JSON, and API testing
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and effectively communicating security issues
- Skilled in programming languages including .NET, C, Java, and Python
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React)
- 1-3 years of experience in web development technologies (HTML, ASP, ColdFusion, JSP, Node.js, React)
- Understanding of pipeline integration and version control systems (Jenkins, GitHub)
- Knowledgeable in relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Proficient in writing and comprehending SQL queries
- Basic understanding of Azure cloud services
Responsibilities
- Schedule and execute regular application penetration tests
- Perform penetration assessments on critical software and infrastructure
- Test and validate software changes prior to deployment
- Analyze and confirm identified vulnerabilities
- Document and report on testing activities comprehensively
- Present security findings to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain and update dashboards for monitoring vulnerabilities
- Enhance asset management processes for improved efficiency
- Refine threat modeling strategies
- Review source code to identify and eliminate duplicates
- Utilize security testing tools such as Fortify and Burp Suite
- Automate security scanning processes and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development teams to bolster security practices
- Assist in incident response and investigative efforts
- Conduct a variety of security assessments (penetration testing, purple team, red team)
