Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Power Systems, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in SCADA monitoring, control/protection systems, or utility operations
- Working knowledge of grid operations, energy storage systems (BESS), and substation controls preferred
- Familiarity with real-time monitoring software and remote diagnostics tools
- Experience working in a 24/7 control center or operational environment is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills, particularly in fast-paced and high-pressure situations
- Comfortable using communication platforms such as Slack, Teams, or similar tools
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and maintain composure under pressure while managing simultaneous alerts and requests
- Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the United States without the necessity for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Responsibilities
- Execute real-time monitoring of SCADA systems across a varied utility and renewable energy portfolio
- Acknowledge, document, and respond to system alarms as they arise
- Utilize collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack) to report live events, issues, or escalations with internal teams and stakeholders
- Identify and escalate significant or critical alarms to local site personnel according to established protocols
- Perform initial remote diagnostics and provide technical context to field engineers or technicians
- Ensure all incidents are accurately logged and tracked in internal systems
- Assist the engineering team by highlighting recurring issues or system performance concerns for further review
- Help in the development and enhancement of alarm management and escalation procedures
- Engage in shift rotations to guarantee 24/7 coverage

This role focuses on continuous, 24/7 SCADA monitoring for numerous utility clients, engaging in real-time system oversight, alarm response, and effective communication coordination with our field teams. Our dedicated team ensures 24/7 operational management, responding to alarms, system anomalies, and various field events.
