Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or at least 3 years of relevant experience in place of a degree
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
- Proven capability to assess complex requirements and convert them into straightforward, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking
- Applicants must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance
- Expertise in cyber analytics, detection engineering, and custom rule development
- Strong knowledge in optimizing data analytics for threat detection and response
- Experience in developing advanced analytics and detection workflows for enterprise SOCs
- Ability to address intricate problems leveraging advanced technical principles and concepts
- Proficient in mentoring and training junior technical personnel
Responsibilities
- Enhance threat detection and response capabilities using advanced analytics solutions
- Optimize data analytics workflows to boost accuracy and efficiency in SOC operations
- Design and implement tailored custom detection capabilities in response to evolving threats
- Tackle undefined and complex technical challenges requiring advanced conceptual skills
- Collaborate with specialists to create and utilize advanced methodologies and tools
- Develop innovative strategies that improve cybersecurity operations within enterprises
- Mentor and guide junior staff in the realm of analytics development and advanced detection strategies
- Contribute to the enhancement of knowledge in cyber analytics and detection practices
