Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph or the ability to acquire one
- Demonstrated experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in software design, development, maintenance, and deployment
- At least 3 years of solid experience with Appian v24.4.X, Appian v20.X, and Appian v19.X
- Valid Appian certification (e.g., Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher) is mandatory
- Proficient in SAIL, Appian Data Stores, and Process Models
- Strong knowledge of Appian plug-ins and integration techniques (REST, SOAP, Web Services)
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Preferred: Experience with Appian RPA and Appian AI capabilities
- Preferred: Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Preferred: Understanding of financial processes is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute business process management solutions utilizing the Appian BPM Suite
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
- Create Appian components such as Records, Reports, SAIL interfaces, Process Models, and Web APIs
- Enhance and troubleshoot existing Appian applications to improve performance and scalability
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems and data sources
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment
- Ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards
- Provide technical documentation and user guides for developed solutions
- Generate Tempo reports, Records, and business rules while resolving issues
- Develop reusable toolkits for various BPM process applications
- Implement Timer Events, Message Events, and Tracking Events
- Design and develop SAIL Forms, Dashboards, Reports, Services, and Entity-Backed Reports
- Work closely with business teams to capture requirements and convert them into process models
- Implement In-Bound and Out-Bound Web Service Components
- Document business workflow requirements and offer solution specifications throughout all SDLC phases
