Requirements
Must:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the country without sponsorship for a visa now or in the future
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four-year university during the internship
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 required
- Previous internship, co-op, or work experience in a related field is advantageous
- Preferred to be a sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Engineering
- Evidence of leadership through participation in extracurricular activities on campus or within the community
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing various continuous improvement tasks related to process enhancement and general engineering
- Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and other staff to comprehend objectives, receive guidance on professional inquiries, and convey findings
- Support compliance with departmental policies, legal regulations, and applicable standards
- Aid in the initiation and oversight of projects affecting limited functions to ensure goals and deadlines are accomplished
- Monitor ongoing operations, processes, and equipment, and generate reports and documents, suggesting modifications as necessary
- May perform supportive maintenance, operational, and production duties
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned
