Requirements
Must:
- Must have legal authorization to work in the employment country without requiring sponsorship for any visa status in the present or future
- Must be aged eighteen (18) years or older
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university during the Co-op program
- Must be pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher
- Must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineering Manager with equipment analysis
- Support with new installations and facility modifications
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layout
- Investigate new engineering processes and techniques for the plant
- Work on special projects as assigned by the Engineering Team
- Present final outcomes at the conclusion of the rotation to site, program, and division leadership

At Sherwin-Williams, our Engineering Co-op Program is a dynamic 15-week initiative where participants will collaborate closely with our site Engineering Managers, contributing to departmental goals and special projects. Kankakee, Illinois, will be the location for this Co-op, which commences in Fall 2026 (September 7th - December 18th).
