Requirements

Must:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future - Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older - Must be currently enrolled in a college or university at the time of the Co-op program - Must be currently pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher - Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8 - Preferably have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook) - Preferably currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering - Preferably have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc. - Preferably have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership roles, supervising others, or leading teams - Preferably have at least one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an Engineering function - Preferably have previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division - Willingness to relocate for potential future job opportunities

Responsibilities

- Assist the site Engineering Managers with daily operational tasks and special projects - Conduct equipment analysis to determine efficiency and effectiveness - Support new installations and modifications to facilities - Develop detailed drawings and specifications for equipment layout - Investigate new engineering processes and techniques for plant improvement - Engage in special projects as designated by the Engineering Team - Present findings and final reports at the conclusion of the Co-op program to site, program, and division leadership
