Requirements
Must:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older
- Must be actively enrolled in a college or university during the Co-op program
- Must be pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher
- Must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
- Have at least one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook)
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- Previous experience in a team-oriented environment through work, extracurriculars, military service, etc.
- At least one (1) year of leadership experience, supervising others, or leading teams
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in engineering
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
Responsibilities
- Assist the site Engineering Managers in daily operations and special projects
- Analyze equipment and assess efficiency
- Support new installations and modifications to facilities
- Participate in developing technical drawings and specifications for equipment layout
- Investigate new engineering processes and techniques in our plants
- Work on specific projects as assigned by the Engineering Team
- Present a final project summary to site, program, and division leadership at the end of the rotation
