- You must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- You must be legally permitted to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa, now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1, etc.).
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering is necessary.
- You should possess two (2) years of experience in controls or process engineering.

Responsibilities
- I will design and implement new control systems for capital projects.
- You will be responsible for PLC programming and application development.
- I expect you to enhance and support existing control systems, providing 24/7 support for critical situations as needed.
- You will develop design specifications and user documentation for control system capital projects.
- Completing control system hardware and panel design will be part of your duties.
- I ask that you assist with the design and specification of process instrumentation, including temperature, pressure, level, flow, and valves.
- You will specify equipment, obtain cost estimates, generate bill of materials, and expedite the purchase and fabrication of electrical controls equipment.
- Supporting contractor management on project assignments is essential.
- You will support control system commissioning through site acceptance.
- Developing control system documentation and reference material for site operations and technical support personnel will also be expected.
- I want you to drive continuous improvement by enhancing existing control software and hardware systems.
- Providing technical support for root cause analysis related to control system issues and failures will be required as well.

Description
This position involves the design, implementation, and support of control system projects from initial planning through to design, execution, successful startup, and acceptance by operating management. Both advanced computer/PLC/HMI programming skills and process engineering knowledge will play a critical role in these tasks. Additionally, familiarity with PLC hardware/software design and system integration is essential. The travel requirement for this role is 30%. Due to the nature of the job, you will interact with other employees and may have access to confidential information, which requires a review of criminal history to maintain the safety of our operations and personnel.
