Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a field that includes courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering is essential
- A degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is preferred
- No prior experience is necessary
- Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial Tier 1 support resource for technical inquiries and call tickets, providing escalation assistance to other members of the System Support team as needed
- Maintain a foundational understanding of one or more packaged solutions and the corresponding business processes they support
- Address routine issues efficiently using standard scripts, procedures, and documentation for swift resolutions; for more complex issues, apply your knowledge to evaluate, test, and implement corrective measures
- Monitor system performance alerts and alert the appropriate IT resources when anomalies are detected; create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for monitoring and addressing these issues
- Utilize tools such as debuggers and SQL editors during troubleshooting and issue resolution efforts
- Engage in assigned Implementation, Deployment, and Documentation projects
- Be available for evening and weekend on-call support as required, understanding that our services operate 24/7/365 and support may be sought at any time
- Create and maintain technical support documentation
- Recognize and address technical support trends that demand immediate attention
