Senior Systems Engineer, Digital Marketing

- Take ownership of web and integration architecture (UX design system, APIs, data pipelines) with an emphasis on reliability and testability. - Manage platform standards, system performance, cost control, and vendor relationships. - Collaborate with IT Security/Network teams to address security and access requirements. - Oversee technical enablement for Azure, databases, and platform tools. - Act as the primary communicator for incident response and continuity strategies on web platforms, ensuring teams are well-informed about roles during incidents and recovery processes. - Develop, document, and proactively communicate network and security maintenance actions, including firewall modifications, to minimize connectivity impacts. - Serve as the main liaison for privileged access management, ensuring compliance through cross-functional engagements and overseeing access controls. - Facilitate architectural reviews by organizing team sessions, sharing insights, and gathering input, while also actively involved in designing and updating architecture for digital platforms and integrations. - Manage integration patterns across digital services, articulating technical requirements and timelines clearly, while executing and validating tests to ensure seamless digital experiences. - Promote resilience by communicating on release readiness and risks, conducting hands-on change validation to mitigate service disruptions. - Ensure oversight of real-time and near-real-time data flows for inventory and APIs, while directly managing technical troubleshooting and optimization efforts. - Lead technical enablement sessions through interactive presentations and hands-on exercises, ensuring team members acquire practical skills with new tools and technologies. - Maintain team operations by regularly sharing updates, addressing concerns, and following through on action items to ensure accountability and effectiveness. - Provide mentorship and support for the professional growth of junior engineers and team members, fostering a collaborative learning atmosphere by sharing best practices and advocating for continuous skill enhancement. - Contribute to the hiring process for engineering candidates by clearly outlining role expectations, participating in interview panels, and being involved in evaluation and selection processes.
