Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
- Over 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence development and data analytics
- Proficient in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard optimization
- Strong background with SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools
- Advanced SQL development expertise, including complex queries and data transformations
- Experience writing stored procedures and optimizing SQL code for performance
- Familiarity with SQL Server, DB2, and Amazon Redshift databases
- In-depth understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional data modeling
- Capability to enhance query performance and address issues with slow reports
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage enterprise BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions
- Create advanced dashboards and data models utilizing Power BI
- Establish and maintain enterprise reporting frameworks using SAP BusinessObjects
- Engage with business stakeholders to collect reporting and analytics requirements
- Craft complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize data retrieval processes
- Conduct backend data analysis across SQL Server, DB2, and Amazon Redshift databases
- Design efficient datasets and semantic layers for BI reporting tools
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, performance challenges, and reporting inconsistencies
- Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to uphold reporting accuracy
- Enhance database queries and stored procedures for efficient analytics workloads
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to synchronize reporting frameworks with our enterprise data platform architecture
- Manage production BI environments and address reporting-related incidents
