Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Databricks Delta Lake
- Experience with Medallion Architecture and Unity Catalog
- Strong skills in Python, Scala, and Spark
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server and SSIS
- Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL
- Expertise in Power BI for data visualization
- Background in data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins
- Proficient with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Competency in MS Office applications
- Preferred familiarity with REST API/JSON
- Experience in the banking or financial domain
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS
- Understanding of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or C++
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
- Skills in Bash/Shell scripting
- Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps
- Knowledge of Collibra for data lineage and data quality
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and sustain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows from diverse sources into our data warehouse.
- Address on-premises SQL Server reporting needs using SSIS and related integration methods.
- Execute batch and streaming ETL processes utilizing Azure Data Factory, Spark, Python, and Scala on Databricks.
- Collaborate with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Databases, and Azure Data Factory.
- Implement Databricks Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture, and Unity Catalog effectively.
- Enhance ingestion and transformation workflows for streamlined and scalable data processes.
- Develop and uphold data models, schemas, and comprehensive data dictionaries.
- Conduct data profiling, cleansing, validation, and ensure quality checks.
- Monitor and enhance database performance through query tuning and index optimization.
- Create Power BI dashboards, reports, and captivating visualizations.
- Execute data transformations, modeling, and integration methods within Power BI.
- Clearly communicate data insights to our business stakeholders.
- Utilize Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins for building and deployment workflows.
- Deliver features incrementally as part of an Agile team using Jira and Confluence.
- Create and maintain thorough technical documentation for databases, schemas, and reporting solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in data engineering and Power BI.
- Proactively suggest and execute enhancements to our data infrastructure.
- Efficiently manage multiple priorities and adapt within our team environment.
