Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficient experience in embedded software development using C/C++, real-time systems, and hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, and WiFi.
- Enthusiasm for developing consumer-friendly, connected products.
- Curiosity and versatility, with a strong desire to contribute to a high-performing engineering team.
- Preferred: Experience with IoT ecosystems, cloud-to-device connectivity, or application integration.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation and testing.
- Preferred: Previous experience in robotics or consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers, RTOS, and connected devices.
- Collaborate with teams in hardware, robotics, and mobile applications to provide comprehensive product experiences.
- Create, run, and automate tests to guarantee reliability, safety, and consumer-ready quality.
- Troubleshoot and enhance performance (memory, power, real-time behavior) for large-scale consumer manufacturing.
- Document design processes and contribute to the ongoing improvement of SharkNinjas embedded software platform.
