Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in native iOS and/or Android development with a deep expertise in Swift or Kotlin programming languages.
- Proficient with modern mobile development tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, Git, Gradle, CocoaPods, and Swift Package Manager.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional development teams across the entire software stack.
- Understanding of full-stack system architecture and mobile-to-cloud integration methodologies.
- Familiarity or eagerness to learn React Native for cross-platform development.
- A passion for crafting consumer-friendly, connected product experiences.
- Possess curiosity, adaptability, and drive to contribute to a high-performing engineering team.
- Preferred experience with Rust for cross-platform modules, React Navigation, React Query for state management, Protobuf APIs, and build systems in Xcode/Android Studio.
- Previous work involving connected devices, IoT ecosystems, or device-to-app connectivity.
- Knowledge of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and WiFi connectivity protocols.
- Experience with Rust, C/C++, or other system programming languages.
- Background in robotics, consumer electronics, or smart home products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain hybrid mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android) with modern development tools.
- Create cross-platform solutions utilizing React Native to expedite feature delivery across both iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with teams focused on embedded systems, cloud applications, and hardware to provide comprehensive connected product experiences.
- Design and implement full-stack system architectures that integrate mobile applications with cloud services and connected devices.
- Write, execute, and automate tests to guarantee reliability, performance, and readiness for consumers.
- Troubleshoot and enhance mobile app performance for large-scale deployment across diverse device ecosystems.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary development teams throughout the full software stack, from embedded systems to cloud solutions.
