Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in embedded software development utilizing C/C++, real-time systems, and hardware/software integration.
- Proficiency with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, and WiFi.
- Passion for developing consumer-oriented, connected products.
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a desire to contribute to a high-performing engineering team.
- Preferred: Familiarity with IoT ecosystems, cloud-to-device integration, or application integration.
- Preferred: Python or scripting skills for automation and testing.
- Preferred: Previous experience in robotics or consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers, RTOS, and connected devices.
- Collaborate with hardware, robotics, and mobile app teams to create comprehensive product experiences.
- Write, execute, and automate tests to ensure the reliability, safety, and quality of the products.
- Troubleshoot and enhance performance (memory, power consumption, real-time behavior) for mass production.
- Document designs and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of SharkNinjas embedded software platform.
