Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in embedded software development using C/C++, with a focus on real-time systems and hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, and WiFi.
- Genuine enthusiasm for developing consumer-friendly, connected products.
- Strong curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to joining a high-performing engineering team.
- Preferred: Experience with IoT ecosystems, cloud-to-device connectivity, or application integration.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation and testing.
- Preferred: Background in robotics or consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers, RTOS, and connected devices.
- Collaborate with teams in hardware, robotics, and mobile app development to create comprehensive product experiences.
- Write, conduct, and automate tests to ensure product reliability, safety, and consumer-ready quality.
- Troubleshoot and enhance performance (memory, power efficiency, real-time behavior) for large-scale consumer manufacturing.
- Document designs and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of SharkNinjas embedded software platform.
