Requirements

Must:
- Masters Degree in psychology or a related discipline is required - Minimum of five years experience with special populations in behavior management - Preferred experience in behavior analysis within an applied environment - Board Certification Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is mandatory - Willingness to travel as needed (Stuart/ Port St Lucie) - Ability to perform light work, requiring limited physical exertion to move objects

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with supervisors to create and uphold behavioral change initiatives - Apply least restrictive treatment protocols while implementing behavioral techniques - Guide program participants in achieving behavioral changes, focusing on daily living activities, behavior management, and social skills - Deliver behavioral therapy and active treatment programs in residential and community settings, both individually and in groups - Maintain weekly documentation outlining objectives, methods, and outcomes - Advise staff, insurance representatives, legal professionals, service providers post-discharge, and families regarding treatment recommendations and progress - Engage in family education and therapy sessions as necessary - Participate in treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team and attend pre-admission meetings as required - Timely complete evaluation, progress, and discharge reports for each program participant - Prepare daily billing summaries efficiently - Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and confidentiality ethics - Coordinate behavioral programming across various living and vocational settings as required - Provide assistance to the assigned team and conduct training in behavioral techniques - Supervise and mentor BIT interns and practicum students - Involve in behavioral research projects and crisis intervention as needed - Perform other related duties as required
