Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in software development using Python, C++, Java, or similar languages
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, ports, firewalls)
- Experience with APIs and data formats such as REST, JSON, and Protobuf
- Background in integrating hardware or external systems, including cameras and radars
- Ability to interpret technical documentation like ICDs and specifications
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years in reviewing, testing, and evaluating source code
- At least 5 years of experience in C# or similar (Java)
- 5 years working in the SDLC, covering requirements capture, design, development, testing, and end-of-life support
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- 3+ years mentoring junior software engineers
- Hands-on experience with Docker containers
- 3+ years in full-stack web development or working on front-end and back-end components
- Experience with Atlassian tools or similar (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)
- 5+ years using Linux distributions like Ubuntu or Oracle
- Experience with Blazor and .NET 6 or higher, as well as Visual Studio or VS Code is a plus
- Experience establishing coding standards for zero-trust or mission-critical software
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration process for sensors and external systems into the Command and Control platform
- Review and interpret ICDs, APIs, and technical documentation
- Design and implement software interfaces and adapters
- Set up and verify data ingestion, fusion, and visualization processes
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of system performance
- Showcase successful integrations of necessary functionalities
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration steps, configurations, and test outcomes
- Act as the technical liaison for integration initiatives
- Assist in laboratory testing, field activities, and customer demonstrations.
