Requirements
Must:
- Associate degree or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a corporate IT networking or cybersecurity role
- Strong comprehension of network infrastructure architecture and design
- Proficient in Rapid7 IDR Advanced and Check Point Harmony
- In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, SFTP, RDP, OSI Model, Routing, and Switching
- Experience in log review and security system data analysis
- Familiarity with email filtering and protective systems
- Robust understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards including ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, DFARS5.X, CMMC Level 2
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security +, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CISSP or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must exhibit a proactive can-do attitude
Responsibilities
- Conduct threat analysis and system monitoring
- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
- Respond to incidents and manage incident response procedures
- Implement, integrate, and test system enhancements
- Oversee upgrades and maintenance of security systems
- Manage endpoint protection initiatives
- Enforce cybersecurity policies and strategies
Description
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to support one of our clients based in Aurora, IL. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity. We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, along with weekly pay, medical, dental, vision benefits, a 401K plan, and more.
