Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree (Required)
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience without a Bachelors degree (Required)
- Preferred: CCNP Certification
- Proficient with Cisco Catalyst routing and switching
- Knowledge of BGP routing is advantageous
- Experience with Cisco/Fortinet firewalls is a plus
- Familiarity with Cisco Wireless and Juniper Mist Wireless technologies
- Experience with Juniper routing and switching configurations
- Ability to troubleshoot, install, repair, and replace physical networking equipment on-site
- Valid drivers license with capacity to drive distances exceeding 100 miles
- Capability to work in active construction environments with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Physical stamina to lift 25-50 lbs and perform tasks involving typing and writing
Responsibilities
- Work independently while receiving general supervision
- Address and resolve challenging issues that are generally not complex
- Influence peers by elucidating facts, policies, and practices
- Manage the security of computer systems, networks, and telecommunication
- Ensure maximum uptime for network, telecom, cloud services, and cloud storage
- Plan and improve capacity and design infrastructure engineering projects
- Monitor data and voice transmission throughout the organization
- Identify and rectify system and application issues
- Participate in the maintenance of hardware necessary for cloud, network, and telecommunication services
