Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline
- 4-6 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience providing systems engineering support to defense acquisition programs
- Proficient in reviewing and developing engineering design modifications
- Skilled in planning and executing technical analyses and reporting results
- Familiar with engineering documentation such as Specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICPs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Test Plans, and Reports
- Knowledgeable about updating systems engineering processes, including Configuration Management (CM) and technical reviews
- Understanding of the DoD 5000 Framework
- Working knowledge of engineering and architecture tools like Rational, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System, Visio, System Architect, MagicDraw (preferred)
- Strong research, analysis, and evaluation capabilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle and interpret large volumes of data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues
Responsibilities
- Provide Systems Engineering support by planning, conducting, and reporting on technical analyses related to engineering changes for the Advanced Amphibious Vehicle (AAV)
- Review and formulate engineering changes for the AAV
- Analyze and develop comments on various engineering documents (e.g., Specifications, ICPs, ECPs, Test Plans, Engineering Analyses)
- Assess and enhance AAV systems engineering processes to ensure consistency with PM AAA processes
- Participate in the documentation of engineering changes and technical assessments
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and reports pertaining to engineering modifications and analyses
