Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in customer support, preferably in an IT environment
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Familiarity with printers, peripherals, and desktop hardware
- Understanding of ticketing systems and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Ability to document incidents and solutions accurately
- Awareness of network and security protocols
- Strong communication skills to interact with users effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial contact for IT support queries via phone, email, or ticket system
- Deliver basic troubleshooting services for Windows devices and Microsoft 365 applications
- Assist users with password resets and account issues, adhering to established protocols
- Conduct standard software installations and resolve basic application concerns using documentation
- Manage and prioritize service tickets in line with defined SLAs
- Resolve issues within Tier 1 parameters or escalate to Tier 2/3 support as necessary
- Monitor and validate the operation of network and security systems
- Perform routine operational tasks to verify connectivity and device status under supervision
- Follow security best practices in daily operations and support security efforts
- Document common issues and solutions to enhance knowledge base
- Collaborate closely with IT service teams and assist in projects as assigned
- Engage in professional development to enhance technical skills and prepare for future roles
