GCP Site Reliability Engineer

- Develop and sustain a robust, secure, and efficient cloud-hosted platform to fulfill set SLAs while facilitating new software releases and maintenance updates. - Collaborate with leading cloud technology from GCP, leveraging their unique native services in deployments. - Employ Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for designing, deploying, and managing secure and compliant enterprise servers, network structures, and cloud frameworks. - Interact with highly collaborative cross-functional teams distributed globally for troubleshooting, offering insights for automation, and shaping architectural choices. - Partner with Cloud and Engineering colleagues and other stakeholders to construct, monitor, and uphold a secure cloud-hosted infrastructure via automation across both production and non-production settings. - Configure and optimize cloud-based tools, overseeing cost management, security, and compliance within the Boeing Cloud. - Design, establish, and maintain environment-specific alerts and dashboards using analytics tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring. - Oversee and resolve site stability and performance challenges, including incident management and conducting post-mortem evaluations. - Maintain thorough documentation for systems, processes, and procedures to guarantee knowledge sharing and adherence to compliance standards.
