Requirements

Must:
- 4+ years of expertise in systems engineering (server hardware), systems architecture (Windows, Linux, ESXi), network security architecture, software development, and virtualization. - 2+ years’ experience testing DCO related products such as TAPS, Servers, and Firewalls. - 2+ years of experience creating test plans, executing them, and documenting metrics in support of DCO kits. - 2+ years of experience with contemporary defensive cyberspace TTPs. - Strong understanding of essential cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and methodologies, along with knowledge of infrastructure security, hardening techniques, and industry best practices. - Experience with network protocols, architecture design, and defense-in-depth strategies. - Hands-on proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, scripting). - Familiarity with virtualization technologies and management platforms (e.g., vCenter, Kubernetes), including deployment and configuration of VMs and containers. - Knowledge of defensive cyber tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Zeek, Palo Alto, RedSeal, and similar platforms. - Awareness of best practices for security patching, authentication, and log retention. - Experience working within security frameworks to meet compliance and auditing requirements. - Proficiency in Agile project management utilizing tools such as Jira. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for documenting and maintaining engineering processes and procedures. - Capability to obtain a Secret security clearance. - Possession of an active driver's license and a clean driving record. - U.S. Citizenship. - Willingness to travel within the United States less than 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

- I will perform and lead advanced cybersecurity engineering tasks, which include hands-on system and software development. - I assist with planning and resource allocation, estimating workload and staffing requirements, coordinating activities, and collaborating with key stakeholders to secure project success. - I conduct research and execute technical analyses, focusing on network and cyber operations Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), with an emphasis on threats to networked environments, cyberspace platforms, and U.S. DoD information networks. - I collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that technology standards, security controls, and engineering practices are clearly understood and consistently implemented. - I provide support and technical guidance to team members across multiple locations, primarily based in Columbia, MD. - I work closely with internal teams to deliver technical demonstrations and showcase Sealing Technologies’ capabilities to clients. - I identify and define high-level functional and technical requirements through collaboration with the user community and leveraging knowledge of existing DoD enterprise architectures.
