Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering and/or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity, ideally in embedded systems or industrial computing
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing direct reports in a technical capacity
- Hands-on familiarity with UEFI BIOS, Embedded Controllers, and firmware essential for x86 embedded system functionality
- Knowledge of high-speed digital design principles for ensuring signal integrity and product reliability
- Detail-oriented and organized with a strong emphasis on quality
- Self-driven and motivated
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a team of engineers across multiple projects by overseeing personnel, resources, schedules, and collaborating with the Director of Engineering
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of new product development phases, including project management, product definition, cost estimation, schematic design, prototype execution, and validation testing
- Assist the Director of Engineering with special projects and departmental initiatives
- Spearhead continuous improvement efforts within the team by identifying areas for enhancement and necessary tools or resources
- Foster collaboration within the engineering team and with other departments across the organization
- Ensure timely completion of crucial team responsibilities such as design reviews, creating specification documents, and meeting departmental deadlines
- Partner with the Director of Engineering and HR to address performance issues and developmental opportunities within the team
- Help resolve hardware/software compatibility challenges
- Work closely with manufacturing to facilitate a seamless transition from design to production
- Support the Technical Support Department in resolving customer and product issues
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering

We are currently looking for a Hardware Engineering Manager to join our Engineering Department, focusing on high-end computing chip-down design of x86 and ARM CPUs. In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to creating next-generation industrial computing products for diverse applications in critical industries like defense, energy, and public safety.
