Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or 15+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity within the Department of Defense
- In-depth knowledge of DoDI 8500, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and CNSSI 1253
- Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance
- Familiarity with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs)
- Experience in obtaining and maintaining Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating environments
- Experience with Fortigate Firewalls
- Knowledge of network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, routing, and switching
- Working understanding of Layer-3, VPN configurations, firewall policies, and VLAN management
- Proficient in Active Directory management, including Group Policy and OU design
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare/HyperV
- Familiarity with network protocols like DNS, DHCP, and RADIUS
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of design, implementation, full compliance, and information assurance for classified program computing requirements
- Manage both hardware and software components
- Maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret clearance and qualify for special access and SCI programs
- Design and establish information systems for classified computing and networks, ensuring compliance for US Government system accreditation under RMF
- Develop and review essential documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports (RARs), and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages
- Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments to assist with Government A&A activities
- Ensure the security of classified data transmission lines and associated protocols
- Perform ongoing monitoring of secure systems and their controls
- Create and sustain computer solutions that adhere to DoD standards
- Develop cross-boundary network solutions, including firewalls and access control lists, across multiple secure networks
- Act in a secondary capacity for all company non-classified IT systems
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
